Port Townsend, Washington
In the summer of 1998, our travels took us up the coast from San Diego, with an eventual destination of Port Townsend, Washington. Port Townsend is an old Victorian town that was important as a port in the 1800's. It became forgotten as Seattle rose to a place of prominence. It is a wonderful place to visit, it's quaint shops and Victorian architecture taking you to a time past. We stayed at The James House, a Victorian B&B that was built in the 1880's. So click the picture below, and you will be taken to a gallery of thumbnails, each clickable to show you the full size picture plus an explanation of the sites we saw in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
